Philips Hue MotionAware

Philips Hue MotionAware is a motion detection feature available exclusively with the Hue Bridge Pro. It transforms compatible Philips Hue lights into motion sensors by creating a Motion area using three to four lights in a room. The system measures fluctuations in Zigbee wireless signals that occur when objects pass through the area between the lights.

Note: While MotionAware uses wireless signals for motion detection, it uses Zigbee rather than Wi-Fi sensing technology. Zigbee is a low-power wireless protocol commonly used in smart home devices, distinct from Wi-Fi’s Channel State Information (CSI) approach.
